Elizabeth Anne Laforest

Mrs. Elizabeth Anne LaForest, age 66 of Calhoun, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at her residence following several years of declining health. She was born in Norwood, Massachusetts on January 16, 1944, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Stecklund Stonis. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Theodore M. LaForest, Sr., a brother, Joseph Stonis, Jr., and a grandchild, Daniel Stobinski.

During her lifetime, Mrs. LaForest was employed as a Registered Nurse, working with various hospitals and nursing homes, and with Beverly Enterprises.

Survivors include two sons, Byron LaForest of Calhoun, and Theodore LaForest, Jr. of Tennessee; a daughter, Danielle Dorsett of Calhoun; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Virginia Stonis of Punta Gorda, Florida; and grandchildren, Stephanie Marie LaForest, Melisa Edmundson, Chase LaForest, and Kristen and Sarah LaForest. Her father-in-law, Ermie Carlino of Massachusetts, and a special friend, Diane Hite also survive.

Mrs. LaForest's body will be cremated, and no local services are planned.
