Emory Clark

Mr. Emory (Pollie) Clark, age 91 of Fairmount, GA passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at Townsend Park in Cartersville. He was born in Cherokee County, GA on December 31, 1921, son of the late Joseph and Georgia Fields Clark. He was preceded in death by brothers, Jack Clark and Donald Clark; and a sister, Sarah Clark.

Mr. Clark was retired from the GA Department of Transportation, and was a member of Pleasant Olive Church.

He is survived by special cousins and caregivers, James and Betty Marsingale, and Marlis Marsingale; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Emory (Pollie) Clark will be held Thursday, March 28th at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Glenn King and Reggie Temples officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Arbor Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Conor Greenway, Ronny Ray, Donny Ray, Hugh Lee Smith, and Roy Ray. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Marsingale, Dennis Marsingale, and Jayson Willis.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Wednesday after 3:00pm.
