Ernest Alan Smith

Mr. Ernest Alan Smith age 78 of Roswell, Georgia; past away Thursday, July 12, 2007 at his residence.

Mr. Smith was born on August 19, 1928 in Gordon County; son of the late Ernest Alexander Smith and Della Moss Smith. Besides his parents; Mr. Smith was preceded in death by two sisters; Mary Buonasara and Iris Herrington. He served his country with the United States Air Force from 1947 until 1968. Following his service to his country; he became employed as an Office Manager for United Distributors. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Thelma Gallihugh Smith of the home. Two sons; Stephen Smith and Guy Smith both of Roswell, Georgia. Ten grandchildren also survive. Graveside funeral service for Mr. Ernest Alan Smith will be conducted Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at the Fain Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Carson officiating. The family request that flowers be omitted and contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
