Mr. Ernest "Sonny" Reynolds, age 61 of the Plainville Community, died Monday at 11:00PM at Redmond Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mr. Reynolds was born in Floyd County, GA, on December 4th, 1947, son of the late Clyde E. and Ola Mae Carter Reynolds. He owned and operated Reynolds Tree Service.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria June Reynolds, to whom he was married for 33 years; two sons, Mark Reynolds and his wife Kristi of Plainville, and Sonny Reynolds and his wife Jennifer of Plainville; five grandchildren, Tyler, Matthew, Blake, Hannah and Brittany Reynolds, all of Plainville; three sisters, Mary Stamps and her husband Wayne of Plainville, Kathrine Lindsay of Rome, and Mattie "Bootsie" Wright of Adairsville; and one brother, Ronnie Reynolds and his wife Ramona of Plainville. Nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Ernest "Sonny" Reynolds will be held on Thursday, March 12th at 2:00PM from Lakeview Pentecostal Church in Plainville, with Bro. Charles Robinson and Bro. Jerry Kelley officiating. The body will be placed in state at the church from 1:00PM until the funeral hour on Thursday. Interment will follow in Scott Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Sandy Green, Shane Reynolds, Randy Elkins, Billy Dutton, Shane Byrd, Kenneth Reynolds, Steve Reynolds, and Lamar Reynolds. The Body will remain at the funeral home and the family will receive friends Wednesday evening between the hours of 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM.
