Obituary

Estelle Nelson Harmon, 82, of Griffin, GA, formerly of Gordon County, died Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Spalding Hospital. She was born in Atlanta, GA on February 5, 1937, daughter of the late Stacy Jones and the late Lucille E. Scott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Vester Harmon in 1999; and her son, Larry Harmon.
During her working years, Estelle was employed with Bellsouth in Customer Service.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Elaine Harmon of Hampton; her daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Robert Everhart of Griffin; her daughter-in-law, Glenda Harmon; her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Paul Goodhart of Kissimee, FL; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 24th at 3:00 PM from Haven of Rest Memorial Park in Calhoun.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 24th from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
