Obituary

Mr. Eugene Allen "Gene" Kostreba, 66, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at AdventHealth Gordon.
Gene was born in Manhattan, NY on July 15, 1954, son of the late Diane Ramie Kostreba. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served from March 1, 1973 until July 31, 1977, was a member of the American Legion Post 245, Adairsville, and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Gene moved to Calhoun in 1994 and was employed by Harbison Walker Corporation and prior to his recent retirement, he was the Southeast Regional Vice President of Liberty Tires.
Survivors include his daughters; Lelok Bessada and her husband Daniel and Anna Kostreba, son; Kris Kostreba, grandchildren; Madeline Bessada, Jake Bessada and Zalie Kostreba, brother; Tony Kostreba along with other relatives.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Gene Kostreba will be conducted Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM from Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Adair officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the United States Airforce Honor Guard.
In lieu of Flowers, contributions may be given in Genes memory to the Adairsville Post 245 of the American Legion, 100 Legion Street, Adairsville, Georgia 30103.
