Eva Charlean Bagwell

Mrs. Eva Charlean Bagwell, age 89 of Calhoun, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Roan County, TN on July 2, 1924, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Woody. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years in 2010, Raymond Bagwell; and two sisters, Robbie Boston and Frankie Wood.

She leaves behind three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Sandy Bagwell, Johnny and Maresha Bagwell, and Jacin and Missy Bagwell, all of Calhoun; two brothers, Jay Woody and George Woody; and three sisters, Tika Bright, Mary Christian, and Ruth Miller. Grandchildren surviving are Brooke Baxter, Sierra Bagwell, Josh Bagwell, Nickee Bagwell Hall, Makenna Bagwell, and Cayla Pulliam; great grand-children, Luca Baxter, Rocco Baxter, Eva and Maelee Hall, and Ava Pulliam; and great-great grandchildren, Molly and Megan Smith.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Eva Charlean Bagwell will be held Saturday, March 22nd at 11:00 AM from the Calhoun Church of Christ, with John Podine and Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Active Pallbearers include Bryson Wood, Russell Woody, Ronald Woody, Kevin Woody, Bob Grahm, and Greg McEntyre. Honorary Pallbearers include Tommy Wood and Dwight Woody.

The Bagwell family will receive friends at the Calhoun Church of Christ Friday from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM.
