Evelyn Hughes Frazier

Mrs. Evelyn Hughes Frazier, 78 of Lafayette, died Thursday, December 24, 2015. She was born on June 24, 1937, daughter of the late George Hughes and Jenny Lowe Hughes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lunice Frazier; two sisters of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother of Cincinnati, Ohio and one brother of Barbourville, Kentucky.

She is survived by two daughters, Vicky L. King of Villanow, GA and Linda D. Frazier of Warren, MI; a son, Lunice Ray Frazier Sr. of Dalton, GA; two grand daughters and two grandsons, Rachel M. Smith of Villanow, GA, Patricia Stanly of Dalton, GA, Jacob J. Jarvis of Villanow, GA, and Lunice Ray Jr. of Nevada; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Services for Mrs. Evelyn Hughes Frazier will be held Tuesday, December 29th at noon from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Chaplain Rick Studdard officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Villanow, GA. Pallbearers serving are Jake, Ron, A.J., Kyle, Keith, and Darrell.

The Frazier family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 28th from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday, December 29th from 10:00 AM until noon.
