Mr. Floyd Chris Paradise Sr., 56, of Calhoun, died at Gordon Hospital on Monday, September 14, 2015.
Mr. Paradise was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on March 12, 1959. He was the son of the late Floyd Willard and Blondell Bearden Paradise. He was also preceded in death by his son, Floyd Chris Paradise Jr., in 2013. Prior to his ill health, Floyd was a security officer with Securitas. Floyd was a member of Tabernacle of Praise Church.
Mr. Paradise is survived by his wife, Abby Paradise, of Calhoun; his daughters, Christy Paradise and her fiancAC., Yamil Lopez, of Calhoun, and Heather Paradise Parker and her husband, David, of Calhoun; his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Jessica Davis; his grandchildren, Brandon Paradise, David "Hot Dog" Parker Jr., Jake Parker, Natalie "Nattie-Bug" Parker, Isaiah Paradise, Amber, Amy, and Audry, and Brylee Glass; his great-granddaughter, Adalynn Paradise; his sisters, Betty Sisk and Rita Paradise; a host of adopted children, friends, and other relatives.
To honor Floyd's wishes, his body was cremated. The family is conducting a memorial service on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from Tabernacle of Praise Church, 301 Chatsworth Hwy 225 NE, Calhoun, GA 30701.
