Floyd Edward Stanley

Mr. Floyd Edward Stanley, 76 of Resaca, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Calhoun Health Care. He was born in Rusk County, TX on July 6, 1938, son of the late K.L. and Dola Mae Thomas Stanley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ann Stanley.

During his lifetime, Mr. Stanley was employed as an operator with L.J. Westmoreland Carnivals.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and David Boyd of Resaca; a sister, Linda Scarborough of Henderson, TX; grandchildren, Crystal Newberry, Tabetha Boyd, Rachael Seay, and David Boyd, Jr.; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Stanley's body will be cremated and there will be no services.
