Obituary

Frank Eugene Pack, 78, of Calhoun, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at AdventHealth Gordon Hospital. He was born in Gordon County on December 25, 1940, son of the late Fletcher and Sally Pack. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lee Pack, James Pack, Clyde Pack, Angnes Francis, Nancy Waters, Demple Tanner, and Aliene Yancey.
Frank had been associated with Mohawk Industries, and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Shirley Elzadie Parker Pack; his son, Eddie Pack; his daughters and sons-in-law, Brandy and Ethan Whittier, Trisha and Larry Gaines, Brenda and Mathew Surrette, Margie Bridges, and Kadie and Dennis Morris; grandchildren, Victoria Bradley, Veronica Bradley, James Whittier, Robert Surrette, Daniel Surrette, Jill Silvers, Allison Gaines, Jessica James, Alisha Bridges, Collin Bridges, Joey Wigger, Cyndi Wigger, Christopher Waits, and Lisa Waits; great-grandchildren, Ford Shook and Cayde Mueller; a brother and sister-in-law, Truman and Mary Jane Pack; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jennlee and J.W. Tanner, and Jo and Arnold Dixon; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Services to honor the life of Frank Eugene Pack will be held Saturday, February 23rd at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Tony Angel and Rev. Michael Yancey officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Music will be arranged by Byron Wood. Pallbearers serving will include Ethan Whittier, Donald Bridges, L.A. Bailey, Michael Gibson, Timothy Mueller, and Collin Bridges.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 22nd, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
