Mr. Frank Warren White, age 87 of Ranger, passed away Friday, July 24, 2009.
He was born in Gordon County on August 22, 1921, son of the late John Morgan White and the late Bessie Townsend White. He was a veteran of WWII and a retired farmer, and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Ranger.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Bonnie Pauline Thacker White; two brothers, Richard and Rembert White; and by two sisters, Marena Coggins and Ollie Coggins.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law; Vicki and Pete Townsend of Ranger, Marsha and Gary Parker of Jasper, and Melinda and Steve Walls of Resaca; two sisters, Mae Moss of Calhoun, and Frances Taylor of Jeffersonville, Georgia; three grandchildren, Lisa Johnson, Angel Bell and Brandon Cronon; and five great-grandchildren, Dillon Logan, Jessica Cronon, Triston Cronon, Cameron Bell and Gracie Bell.
Funeral services for Mr. Frank Warren White will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers serving will include Donnie White, Dale Tatum, Bryant White, Lou White, Anthony Roberts and Larry Thacker. Honorary pallbearers will include Curtis Coggins, Lowell Coggins, Jeff Thacker, Phillip Oliver and Anthony Oliver. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday after 2:00 p.m.
