Frankie Edward Jones

Mr. Frankie Edward Jones, age 37 of Calhoun, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008. He was born in Gordon County on May 6, 1971, son of Jimmie Wayne Jones of Calhoun, and the late Shelia Milligan Jones. He was employed by Colormaster/Product Concepts and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Gertrude Arthur, and by two uncles, Billy Jones and Terry Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Paige Childers Jones of Calhoun; five sons, Aron Jones, Cody Jones, Logan Jones and Nick Sheppard, all of Calhoun, and Dalton Jones of Cussetta, GA.; three daughters, Tiffany Jones and Chasity Sheppard of Calhoun, and Alicia Page of Cussetta, GA; one godchild, Preston Hood of Cussetta, GA.; parents, Jimmie Wayne and Felicia Jones of Calhoun; two brothers, Jesse Jones and Michael Jones, both of Calhoun; six sisters, Marie, Jody, Tammy, Pam, B.J. and Barbara Jones, all of Calhoun; and grandparents, Audry Rayburn and Wayne Jones. Aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Frankie Edward Jones will be conducted Wednesday August 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the Trinity Baptist Church, with Nick Sheppard officiating. Interment will follow in the Gordon Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers serving will include Jerry Littlefield, Jerry Shepherd, Michael Burnette, Blake Childers, Chad Childers and Justin Parker. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the church on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Colormaster/Product Concepts 2nd Shift, and they are asked to meet at the church on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. The family will receive friends at Trinity Baptist Church on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
