Fred R. Raines

Mr. Fred R. Raines, known to his family and friends as ""Junior"", age 68 of Summerville, formerly of Calhoun, passed away recently at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Calhoun on November 2, 1941, son of the late Fred R. Raines, Sr. and the late Ruby Stamey Raines Lipscomb. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-father, Frank Lipscomb.

Junior loved to travel and never met a stranger. He was a member of the South Calhoun Baptist Church.

Survivors include several cousins.

A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday, May 22 at 10:00am from the Fain Cemetery, with Rev. Clifford Free officiating.
