Obituary
Frederick Charles Hodgkins, 93, of the Red Bud Community, died on April 11, 2022. Frederick was born in Worcester, England, on July 31, 1928, to the late Henry Edwin Hodgkins and Annie Stinton Hodgkins. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elvie Webb Hodgkins.
Frederick was a veteran of World War II and proudly served with The Queen's Own Rifles from 1945 until 1947.
Frederick is survived by his son, Henry (Diane) Hodgkins; daughters, Patricia (Don) Litchfield, June (Daryl) Walter, Caroline (Delwin) Litchfield; brother, Ronald Hodgkins; grandchildren, Anthony Hodgkins, Tricia Dewar, Tammie Klingbeil, Christy Putnam, Chris Walter, Nathan Hodgkins, Shawn Litchfield, Kim Hensley, Laura Thomas, Kari Twombley, Shane Litchfield; great-grandchildren, Johnathan Dewar, Matthew Dewar, Robbie Walter, Colby Putnam, Drew Hodgkins, Bradley Putnam, Hannah Klingbeil, Heather Klingbeil, Carter Reagan, Ava Hodgkins, Erica Pendley, Caleb Dewar, Colman Hodgkins, Nathaniel Klingbeil, Rebecca Thomas, Aurora Hensley, Frederick Twombley, Eliana Litchfield, Elisa Litchfield, and Felicity Litchfield; other family members.
A private graveside service will be held at Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wesley Hunt and Pastor Wendell Stover officiating.
Pallbearers are Anthony Hodgkins, Nathan Hodgkins, Jeffrey Putnam, Colby Putnam, Drew Hodgkins, Colman Hodgkins, Carter Reagan, and Bradley Putnam.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Frederick Charles Hodgkins.
