Fredrick Duwayne Scroggs

Mr. Fredrick Duwayne Scroggs, 67 of Calhoun, died at his home on Monday, August 15, 2016. He was born in Monette, Arkansas on December 16, 1948, son of the late Wayne Scroggs and Beatrice Scroggs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Wayne Scroggs and David Scroggs; sisters, Lavelva Johnson, Johnnie Knight, Millie Scroggs, and Nancy Morrison. Fred was a proud veteran of The United States Army.

Mr. Scroggs is survived by his wife of 35 years, Trudy A. Groth Scroggs; sons, Jason Scroggs and his wife Crystal of Partlow, VA, Brian Scroggs of Calhoun, and Ian Scroggs of Calhoun; a daughter, Angel Vance and her husband Matt of Stevensville, MI; a sister, Freda Foster and her husband Johnny of Hartford, MI; a brother-in-law, Mike Morrison; grandchildren, Lindsay McMullen, Brianna Vance, Justice Scroggs, Jon Scroggs, Joey Scroggs, and Cammie Scroggs; his fur-baby, Molly Scroggs; and many nieces and nephews.

To honor his wishes, Mr. Scroggs was cremated. A family service will be held in Michigan.
