Obituary

Mrs. Gail Marie Bowman Holcomb, 81 of Sugar Valley, died Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.
Mrs. Holcomb was born in Aragon, Georgia on November 28, 1938, daughter of the late Willie Bowman and Mae Belle Bowman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons; Randy Davis and Ray Davis, and two sisters; Mary Ann Coffia and Brenda McAlister. She was a member of Sugar Valley Baptist Church and prior to her retirement, she was employed by Gordon Hospital and Dr. Tygrett.
Survivors include two daughters; Sandra Clark and Kathy Higgins both of Sugar Valley, five sons; Donnie Bowman of Calhoun, Bruce Bowman of Sugar Valley, Dennis Davis of Resaca, Johnny Williams of Resaca, and Barry Williams of Adairsville.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gail Bowman Holcomb will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020, at 1:00 PM from Sugar Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Mitch Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday between the hours of 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM at the church. Pallbearers serving will include Blaize Bowers, Johnny Williams, Barry Williams, Bruce Bowman, Clinton Burnette, and Seth Hill.
