Garry Wayne Roberts

Mr. Garry Wayne Roberts, age 64 of Milner, GA, died September 9,, 2014 at Pine Pointe Hospice and Palliative Care in Macon after several weeks declining health.

Mr. Roberts was born in Barnesville, GA on April 17, 1950, son of Frances White Taylor and the late Joe C. Roberts. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Donnie Taylor, a brother, Steve Roberts, two nephews, Scott Roberts and Terry Floyd, and a niece, Lisa Whitkop.

Wayne was loved by all who knew him; he was a wonderful son, brother and friend to many. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle and loved animals. Most of all, he enjoyed life and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Frances Roberts Taylor; two sisters, Brenda Floyd and her husband Donald, and Sarah Long and her husband Terry; two brothers, Larry Roberts and his wife Dot, and Anthony Roberts and his wife Joann; along with a host of nieces, nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Gary Wayne Roberts will be conducted Saturday, September 13th at 11:00 AM from the graveside of Friendship Baptist Church near Ludville, GA, with Eddie Brannon officiating. Pallbearers serving include Mike Crisp, David Roberts, Jerry Floyd, Bradley Roberts, Tony Roberts, Frank Fore, Eugene Putnam and Donny White.
