Gary Lamar Pass

Mr. Gary Lamar Pass, age 45 of Resaca, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born in Gordon County on September 6, 1963, son of the late Thomas E. Pass and Betty J. Sisson. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his step-father, Randall Sisson in January of 2007; a brother, Randy E. Pass in 1992; and grandparents, Richard and Mildred Pass, and John and Nola Roberts.

Mr. Pass had been employed with Mohawk Industries for the past 16 years in Mohawk Home Closeouts.

Survivors include his mother, Betty J. Sisson, a half-brother, Eric Pass, both of Calhoun, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Gary Lamar Pass will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Michael Clark and Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Johnny Green, Charles Allen, Chris Summers, Steven Craig, Tony Newman, and Tony Gallagher. These gentlemen are requested to meet at the funeral home Wednesday at 1:15pm. Employees of Mohawk Home Closeouts will serve as honorary pallbearers, and they may meet at the funeral home Wednesday at 1:45pm.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home beginning Monday after 5:00pm.
