Gary "Stevie" Parker

Gary “Stevie” Parker, 67, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024. He was born in Dalton, Georgia, on November 30, 1956, to the late Elbert Columbus Parker and Sara Louise Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Ray and Michael Wayne Parker and sisters Barbra Guyton and Shirley Gourley.

Stevie is survived by his wife of 33 years, Nina Jean Henson; sons, Jason and Jamie Evans; daughter, Melynda Anderson (Doel); brother, Jerry Parker (Pat); grandchildren, Levi and Jacob Evans, Lukas and Isabella Baza, Jada and Jaden Evans; and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at First Apostolic Ministries.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM at First Apostolic Ministries with Rev. Ricky Silvers officiating. Music will be arranged by Bridgett Young. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jacob, Levi, Jamie Evans, Riley Jackson, Lukas Baza, and Andy Buchanan.
