Obituary

Gary Lamar Teague, 58, of Rydal, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, following a brief illness. He was born on March 05, 1964, to James and Shirley Teague.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 16 years, Melissa Teague; son and stepsons, Douglas Teague, Michael (Brittany) Adcock, Matthew (Caitlin Currier) Adcock; daughter and stepdaughters, LeAnn (Blake) Miller, Caitlin (Zan) Smith, brother, Jerry (Sandy) Teague; sister, Terrie (Frank) Bowen; grandchildren, Addyson Burns, Maizie Smith, Leo Smith, Sierra Turner, Xavier Adcock, Asa Adcock; nephews, Jacob Bowen, Landon Bowen, Madison Teague, Aaron Teague. Special friends Michael and Patricia Thompson, Ricky and Tonya Garland, Lewis and Rachel Miller, Nick and Brooke Land, and the City of Calhoun Electrical Department, with whom he had 30 years of service.
Gary loved to deer hunt, ride his side by side, and was a tinkerer that could fix anything. He also enjoyed collecting guns. He was an outgoing guy that never met a stranger.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM, from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Rev. Kenny Rogers officiating.
