George Lemuel Knox

Mr. George Lemuel Knox, age 68 of Sugar Valley, Georgia passed away July 17, 2008 in Houston, Texas. He was born in Gordon County on January 17, 1940, son of the late James Noyce Knox and Willene Goss Knox. Mr. Knox was a veteran, having served his country in the US Air Force. During his lifetime he had worked as a Service Representative for Otis Elevator Company for 35 years.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Zuhlsdorf Knox of Sugar Valley; a son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Karen Knox of Orlando, Florida; two daughters, Darla Corrales of Ormond Beach, Florida, and Tier Bishop and her husband Steve of Sautee, Georgia; and a brother and sister-in-law, James and Pat Knox of Calhoun, Georgia. Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
