View Tribute DVD: http://videos.lifetributes.com/311166George Richard Seddon, Jr., Pharm.D., 54, of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Gordon Hospital. He was born on February 22, 1958 in Tallahassee, FL. He was the son of George and Barbara (Bobbi) Seddon, Sr. During his lifetime he served and ministered to the community as a clinical pharmacist and as Director of Pharmacy at Gordon Hospital, starting in April 1985. George was also heavily involved in East Calhoun Church of God, serving in teaching, preaching and various leadership positions. He expressed his love for missions through support, and also participated in medical mission trips both domestically and abroad. All those who had the privilege of knowing George recognized his God-given ability to teach. This was the pattern of his life and was evident in all he did. George was an example of an excellent husband, loving father, and faithful friend. Over the years he mentored students, employees, colleagues, church family and anyone who needed his wisdom. His legacy will live in the hearts and lives of all he touched. He admonished all to have a servant's heart and to "Be Sweet!" "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:35. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife and best friend of 33 years, LaVonda Seddon; two beloved children that were the light of his life, Megan Marlene and George Richard, III; parents, George and Barbara (Bobbi) Seddon, Sr. of Graceville, FL; sisters, Anita Seddon Rhoads and husband David of Anderson, SC, Susan Seddon McIntosh and husband Matt, and Amy Seddon Miller and husband Terrell all of Graceville, FL; father-in-law John Peeler and wife Linda; brother-in-law Chris Peeler, all of Weatherford, TX; sister-in-law Paula Wibberley and husband Troy of Tallahassee, FL; and god-daughters, Rebecca (Becca) Fabian and husband David, and Hannah Angel and husband David, all of Calhoun, GA. George is also survived by numerous other loved extended family including cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award me on that day A
