George Robert Cronon

Mr. George Robert Cronon, age 66 of Calhoun, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Gordon Hospital. He was born in Gordon County on May 5, 1942, son of the late Albert and Sindy Coggins Cronon. Mr. Cronon was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Navy, and was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife of ten years, Sylvia Bowen Sapp Cronon; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Anne Cronon, and Harold and Dianne Cronon, both of Calhoun; and nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A private graveside service for Mr. George Robert Cronon will be conducted Tuesday, December 2 at 11:00am from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, with military honors.
