Geraldine Boston

Ms. Geraldine Boston, age 71, a lifelong resident of Calhoun, died late Thursday night, February 24, 2011 in Gordon Hospital.

Ms. Boston was born in Gordon County on September 3rd, 1939, daughter of the late Porter and Nell Smith Boston . She was preceded in death by her uncles, Hoke, Sanford, R.L., Luke and George Smith, an aunt, Lois Bagley; and cousins, Warren Smith and Frances Nichols.

Ms. Boston was employed by Georgia Tufters until her retirement.

Those surviving are three aunts, Louise Smith Nelson, Kate Cash and Barbara Smith. Surviving cousins, Luther Bagley, Jr., Robbie Cox, Yvonne Fuquea, Cheryl Jones, Jane Watkins, Sarah Pearson, Tommy Smith, Kenny Fuquea, Judy Peterson, Kathy Gimber, Tony Smith, Deborah Taylor, Kevin Smith, Heath Smith, Carter and Anthony Smith. Other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Ms. Geraldine Boston will be held on Sunday February 27th at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Steven Pearson officiating. Interment will follow in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Tommy Smith, Kevin Smith, Heath Smith, Carter Smith, Anthony Smith, Kenny Fuquea and Mike Lee.

The family of Geraldine Boston will receive friends Saturday evening between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
