Geraldine Holder

Mrs. Geraldine Holder, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2011 in Hawesville, KY. Mrs. Holder was retired from Shaw Industries. She loved to cook and make quilts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Holder; a son, David Holder; her parents, and three brothers.

Survivors include two daughters, Elaine (Jerry) Beavers of Rocky Face, GA, and Sheila Wilson of Dalton; three sons, Dwayne Holder of Dalton, Dale Decker of Loganton, PA, and Ralph Decker of Hawesville, KY; thirteen grandchildren, Angie West, Ryan Beavers, Anthony Holder, Jamie Holder, Joni Green, Nicole, Josh, Tracy, Ralph Jr., Kimberly, Jennifer, Janice, and Jason Decker; a brother, James Lindsey of Hawesville, KY; two sisters-in-law, Margie Trammell of Calhoun, and Jean Harris of Dalton; and a brother-in-law, Clarence Holder of Calhoun. Great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial/graveside service will be held Saturday, March 26th at Chandler Cemetery at 2:00pm. Bro. Randall Trammell will officiate.
