Obituary

Mr. Gilbert Trandell Holbert, 59, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, after an extended illness. He was born on November 30, 1962, to the late William (Bill) and Joyce Hicks Holbert. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tasha Holbert, and brother, Billy Holbert.
Gilbert is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Connie Holbert; daughter, Kasey French; brothers and sister-in-law, Rusty Holbert, Wade and Traci Holbert; grandchildren, Dakota Jones, Elisabeth Jones, Aspen French, Kimber and Kinsler Bailey; and great-grandchild, William Jones. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 14, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow the visitation on Monday at 7:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Timms officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home to assist the family.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Mr. Gilbert Trandell Holbert.
