Gladys May Distasio

Mrs. Gladys May Distasio, age 92 of Calhoun, died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Erlanger Medical Center. She was born in Howard County, Arkansas on July 6, 1918, daughter of the late Elmer and Flossie Welker Ritchey. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Constantino James Distasio; and a son-in-law, Don Philippi.

Survivors include a son, Elmer Hook of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and two daughters, Joyce Philippi of Calhoun, and Teresa Distasio of LaGrange, Illinois.

A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Gladys May Distasio will be held Sunday, January 23, 2011 at 2:00pm from the Trinity Baptist Church, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Music will be arranged by Howard Withrow.
