Glenn B. "Speedy" Douglas, 79, of Plainville, Georgia died Monday, August 31, 2020 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 12, 1941 in Elk Valley, Tennessee to the late Hannah Douglas Blankenship. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelia Rigney.
He is survived by his loving wife Margie L. Douglas; son and daughter-in-law, David and Mary Douglas; grandchildren, Scotty and his wife Jennifer Rigney, Joshua Rigney and Kadie and Logan Douglas; other relatives including his siblings also survive.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM from Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Friday, September 4, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Scott Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Scott Rigney, Josh Rigney, Bo Nicholson, LJ Nicholson, Rickey Rigney, and John Massey.
