Obituary

Gordon Lee Jordon, 75, of Calhoun died Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was born on May 24, 1942, son of the late Earnest Lee Jordon and Lela May Silvers Jordon.
Gordon owned and operated Gordons Automatic Transmission Shop for 45 years and in his spare time he was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Brenda Jordon; three sons, Shane Jordon, Heath Jordon, and Terry Jordon; a daughter, Teresa Williams; grandchildren, Bly Jordon, Gunter Jordon, Presley Jordon, Summer Jordon, Chasity Chapman and her husband Matt, Taylor Jordon and his wife Miranda, Lee Williams, and Shanna Williams; and great-grandchildren, Kaylan, Jayden, Landon, Savannah, Ryder, and Kendall.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 26th at 1:00 p.m. from South Calhoun Baptist Church. Rev. Gary Bowman and Rev. Eddie Brannon will officiate. Burial will follow at Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Kenny Gravitt, James Stone, Bly Jordon, Gunter Jordon, Scott Cochran, and Taylor Jordon. Honorary Pallbearers are Troy Padgett, Jackie Keener, Ed Ireland, Roland Brown, Marcus Winston, and Jerry Davis.
The Jordon family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, February 25th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
