Greg Smith

Mr. Greg Smith age 52 of Fairmount Highway, Calhoun, died Tuesday March 13, 2012. Mr. Smith was born in Floyd County, GA, on November 24, 1959, son of the late Judson and Karen Fain Smith. He was a lifelong resident of Gordon County and was the owner of an automotive salvage business. Preceding him in death other than his parents were two brothers, Scott Smith and Tony Smith.

Survivors include a son, Matt Smith of Calhoun; a grandson, Caleb Smith of Calhoun; along with cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Greg Smith will be conducted Friday March 16th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Math Smith, Kent Davidson, Douglas Cromer, William Dockery, Jr., Ricky Towe, and Sammy Cronan.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm at the funeral home.
