Gregory Ryan Lemming

Mr. Ryan Lemming, 35, of Calhoun died on Wednesday, September 7th at Redmond Regional Medical Center following after seven months of declining health.

Ryan was born in Whitfield County, GA on June 21, 1981; he was the son of Nancy Fountain Gray and Greg Lemming. He was a member of the 1999 graduating class of Calhoun High School and a graduate of Dalton State University. Ryan was a licensed electrician having been employed by Advanced Electrical and Harcrow Electric. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Denton Fountain and Carl Lemming and his uncle, Doug Fountain.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Nancy Fountain Gray and her husband Jimmy of Calhoun; his father, Greg Lemming of Calhoun; sister, Heather Lemming Black of Calhoun; step-brother, Jacin Gray and his wife Meagan of Calhoun, step-sisters, Amanda Bentil of Virginia and Megan Gray of Maryland, grandmothers, Elsie Fountain and Margie Lemming both of Calhoun; step-grandmother, Susie Gray of Calhoun; and a nieces and nephew, Bailee-Anne and Breck Black of Calhoun, Davis Gray of Calhoun, Savannah Phelps and Elijah Bentil of Virginia. Also survived by his loving caregiver and companion, Onda Wallace of Calhoun;

A service to honor Ryan's life will be conducted Friday, September 9th, at 2:00 PM from New Town Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Hare and Rev. Stacy Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Red Bud. Pallbearers serving will include Zack Townsend, Daniel Worley, Haley O'neal, Jay Jones, Cody Robinson and Skylor Robinson.

The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday September 8th between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM and Friday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 PM.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heyman Hospice, 420 East 2nd Ave., Rome, GA 30161.

The funeral services for Mr. Ryan Lemming are under the care and direction of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
