Gregory Stephen Mulkey

Mr. Gregory Stephen Mulkey, age 27 of Calhoun, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009. He was born on June 29, 1982 in Floyd County, son of Linda Faye Pack Mulkey and the late Herbert Randall Mulkey. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Viola Mulkey, and Herman and Clois Mae Pack. Mr. Mulkey attended the Freedom House of Worship.

Survivors are his wife, Jessica Elaine Jackson Mulkey; two daughters, Savannah Brooke Mulkey of Plainville, and Deliah Grace Mulkey of Calhoun; one son, Gregory Nathaniel Mulkey; a stepson, Harley Jackson; mother, Linda Faye Mulkey, all of Calhoun; and a brother, Kevin Mulkey of Ranger. Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Gregory Stephen Mulkey will be conducted Saturday at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Brother Richard Pack and Brother Chris Pack officiating. Music will be arranged by the Traveling by Faith Singers. Active pallbearers serving will include Jeff Jackson, Jeffery Jackson, Matthew Adams, Josh Kelly, Terry Jordon and Doug Mulkey. Honorary pallbearers serving will include William Silvers, Bo Shepard, Samuel Shepard and Buddy Cash. These gentlemen are requested to meet at the funeral home Saturday at 10:30am. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
