Gustav Silverberg

Gustav "Gus" John Silverberg. 56, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Calhoun Health Care, after many months of declining health. He was born on December 11,1954 in Hollywood, Florida, the son of Ernest Gunner Silverberg, Sr. and Jane Kathryn Silverberg.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jane Kathryn Silverberg; a brother, Ernest G. Silverberg, Jr.; a brother, David E. Silverberg; a sister, Sally Jane Allensworth; and a nephew, Joshua E. Richmond.

He is survived by his father, Ernest G. Silverberg, Sr. of Fairmount, Georgia; four sisters, Wendla M. Boyd of Bonita Springs, Florida, Judith A. Broyles of Calhoun, Donna K. Silverberg of Fairmount, and Debra J. Richmond of Fairmount; and a brother, Michael C. Silverberg of Crystals River, Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service and reception will be held on June 12, 2011 at the residence of Judith Broyles at 2:00 p.m.
