Hank Desha

Mr. Henry (Hank) DeSha, age 55 of Calhoun, died Friday, June 14, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born on July 27, 1957 in Floyd County, son of Wanda Willix Jones and the late Bobby Jones. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Jones and Bo Jones; and a sister, Debbie Coram.

Hank was a self-employed hairdresser.

Survivors include a daughter, Shannon Revels of Resaca; mother, Wanda Jones of Chatsworth; a sister, Gina Walker of Calhoun; and grandchildren, Austin Revels, Hailey Revels, Alycia Revels and Brian Revels. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Henry (Hank) DeSha will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 8:00 pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Greg Belcher officiating. Interment will be at the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Saturday from 6:00 pm until the service hour of 8:00 pm In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist in final expenses.
