Harold C. Towe

Mr. Harold Cecil Towe, age 67, of Fairmount, passed away Friday, November 23, 2007. He was born in Floyd County on June 7, 1940, son of the late Troy and Bessie Jackson Towe. Mr. Towe was the owner of Thangs and More Thangs, and was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Emory Jamar Towe, and a sister, Margie Jackson.

Survivors include two sons; Richard Towe of Resaca, and Derrick Towe of Calhoun; a daughter, Shelia Saxon of Cedartown; four grandchildren, Courtney Saxon, Jordan and Brooklyn Towe, and Jody Curtis; and two great-grandchildren, Sarah and Josh Curtis.

Funeral services for Mr. Harold Cecil Towe will be conducted Sunday, November 25, 2007, at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Towe officiating. Interment will follow in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the family of Wendy Lee and Sue Casey, 161 Windy Hill Road, Fairmount, GA 30139, for the appreciation of their love and support.
