Harvey L. Sauder

Mr. Harvey L. Sauder, age 84, of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Gordon Hospital. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio on December 30, 1922, son of the late Herman and Mary Schneider Sauder. Before his retirement, Mr. Sauder worked as a Trust Officer in Columbia, Maryland, and served his country in the US Army from 1942 through 1945. He was a member of the Calhoun Seventh-Day Adventist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; John Sauder and Walter Sauder, and a sister, Ethel Pulfer. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Lee Brown Sauder; a son, Randy Sauder of Smyrna, GA; three daughters; Barbara Lawson and Janice Miller, both of Calhoun, and Jeralyn Beardsley of Gobles, MI; and two sisters; Barbara Millard of Ohio, and Carol Brain of Texas. Ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive. A memorial service for Mr. Harvey L. Sauder will be conducted Saturday, August 4, at 3:00pm from the Calhoun Seventh-Day Adventist Church, with Dr. Paul Hoover officiating. Music will be arranged by Pastor Phil White.
