Hattie Darlene Mccarter

Hattie Darlene McCarter, 60, of Calhoun died at her home on Friday, August 18, 2017. She was ill for several years before her death. Born in Bradley County, Tennessee on April 14, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Melton and Dessie Groomes McCarter. Along with her parents, she was preceded, Sarah McCarter.
Darlene is survived by her sons and daughter in-in-law, Chris and Cathy Kimsey, and Dwight Kimsey and his fiance, Krystal Mann; her brothers and sister-in-law, Larry McCarter, Jerry and Sandra McCarter; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby and Darrell Caughorn, Patricia Broddrick, and Edith Lorraine and Clemie Sexton; her grandchildren, Tyler, Casey, Kevin, Aaron, Laney, Beto, Alex, Blake, Justin, Morganna, Braydon, Dylan, Christian, Ashley, Robby Ray, Carson, and a grandchild on the way; her great-grandchildren, Skyleigh, Jackson, Elijah, and Cason.
The McCarter family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Otinger and Rev. Paul Whitton will officiate. Pallbearers are Nathan Sexton, Zach Taylor, Alan McCarter Jr., Olon McCarter, Kevin Sexton, Paul Helton, Daniel Pickens, and Bobby Taylor.
