Obituary

Hazel Baldwin Timms, 83, of Resaca, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021. She was born in Gordon County on September 20, 1938 to the late James Robert and Sarah Francis Johnson Baldwin. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband on December 22, 2007, Vernon Timms; sister, Jackie Cowart, brothers, Paul Baldwin, Howard Baldwin, Edward Baldwin, and James Baldwin Jr.
Hazel is survived by her son, Donald (Frances) Timms; brother, Leroy Baldwin; sisters, Jo Kisselburg, Retha Gregory, Margaret Thurman, Lois Wooten; grandchild, Shelly (Chris) Bowen; and great-grandchild, Ella Bowen. She was also a host of many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM in Chandler Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Pallbearers are David Slaughter, Chris Kisselburg, Mason Braden, Terry Baldwin, Chris Bowen, and Michael Baldwin.
