Helen Louise Timms

Helen Louise Burchett Timms, 73, of Calhoun died on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Gordon Hospital following a year of declining health. Helen was born in Gordon County on April 11, 1943; she was the daughter of the late Alton and Mary Ruth Burchett. Along with her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her brother, James Burchett; her grandmother, Beulah Pharr.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Lorrie Roberts; her granddaughter, Amber Roberts; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Richard Craig, Kay and Steve Dryer, Phyllis and Clyde Hayes, Betty Roberts, Gail Peeples, and Frances Davis; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Jamie Hunt will officiate. Pallbearers are Clinton Hayes, Matthew Dyer, Jason Dyer, Wesley Roberts, Jeffrey Davis, Brian Davis, Phillip Craig, and Chad Hayes.
