Henry Dudley Shaw

Mr. Henry Dudley Shaw, age 60 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, April 4, 2008 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. following an extended illness. He was born January 8, 1948 in Gordon County, to Paul Richard and Rosa Mae Boswell Shaw. Mr. Shaw was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Shaw.

Survivors include his mother, Rosa Mae Boswell Shaw of Calhoun, a brother; Billy Shaw and his wife Ann of Adairsville; and a sister-in-law, Genene Jewell. Five nieces and two nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Henry Dudley Shaw will be conducted Sunday, April 6 at 2:00p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Hibberts and Rev. Jack Bell officiating. Interment will follow in the Oothcalooga Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers serving will include Jimmy Carter, Roy Silvers, George Silvers, Ralph Rickett, Danny Shaw, and Edward Boswell. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home Sunday at 1:15 p.m... The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm.
