Henry Eugene Daniel

Mr. Henry Eugene Daniel, age 71 of Calhoun, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Floyd Medical Center following an extended illness.

He was born on May 14, 1940 in Fulton County, son of the late Henry and Katie Inez Smith Daniel. During his lifetime, he served his country with the United States Army during the Korean conflict, and was later employed by Gold Kist.

Mr. Daniel is survived by his wife, Sherry Gates Daniel, to whom he was married for 28 years; a daughter, Paula Daniel of Cartersville; a step-daughter, Rebecca Houston of Canton; and a step-son, William Keith Densmore of Colfax, WI. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services and military honors for Mr. Henry Eugene Daniel will be conducted Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 11:30am from the Georgia National Cemetery with Pastor Keith Reid officiating.
