Obituary

Henry J. Darling, 74, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021. He was born on May 28, 1947 to the late Cecil Oscar and Gladys Lason Darling. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Heltzel Darling.
Henry is survived by his son, William H. Darling (Amanda Darling); daughters, Elizabeth V. Mocahbee (Fred Mocahbee), Jessica L. Darling (Devin Drysdale), Patricia A. Norsworthy; sister, Eva M. McKee; grandchildren, Ashley (Jonathon) Cooper, Tyler Stanley, Christane Darling, Bill (Sydney) Darling, John Norsworthy, Clara Sims, Arianna Drysdale, Nick Harkness, Hannah Jo Harkness, Hannah (James) Sharp, Misty Long; great-grandchildren, Aron, Aeva-Grace, Noah, and Milo Cooper, Scarlett Darling, Ryan Smith, and Owen Sharp. He also leaves behind many friends.
A graveside service will be will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12 Noon from Providence Memorial Gardens at The Church at Liberty Square, with his friend and pastor Evan Long officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
