Horace Peeler

Mr. Horace "Junior" Peeler age 69, of Calhoun passed away Saturday November 10, 2007.

Mr. Peeler was born in Gordon County on July 25, 1938 son of the late Horace Edgar and Molly Marie Stanley Peeler. He was a cabinet maker with Thomas Kitchens Cabinet Company and was a member of Grace Community Church in Sugar Valley. He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Bagley Peeler.

Survivors include a step-son; Junior Thomas of Fort Oglethorpe and by two brothers; Lee Roy Peeler and his wife Barbara of Calhoun and James Peeler and his wife Margaret of Resaca. Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Horace "Junior" Peeler will be conducted Wednesday November 14, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Preavette and Rev. Charles Rogers officiating. Music will be arranged by Candice Peeler and George Padgett. Interment will follow in the Resaca Church of Christ Cemetery. Active pallbearers serving will include Ronnie Reece, Gene Redwine, Harris Housley, George Christian, Jesse Hollingsworth and Jason Brown. Honorary pallbearers will include the Grace Community Church Adult Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends at the Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 7:00 A
