Obituary

Howard Lee Talley, 84, of Calhoun died on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Howard was born in Gordon County on September 10, 1934; he was the son of the late Joseph Vincent and Bonnie Elizabeth Fuller Talley. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles "Billy" Talley. Howard was a member of Eastgate Baptist Church.
Howard is survived by his sons Ronald Talley and Jody Pinion and his wife, Tasha; his sister, Barbara Scott; his grandchildren, Harley Pinion, Coralee Pinion, and Ava Heath Pinion; his great-grandson, Ashton Lipscomb; a special niece, Tammie Kirby; close friends, Johnnie Frashier, Judy Guereschi, and Jeanette McNeese; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The Talley family will receive friends on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from noon until 2:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Clinton Green and Dr. Brent Davis will officiate. Burial will follow at Fain Cemetery with Rev. James Justice officiating. Pallbearers are Michael Green, Austin Green, Hayden Hyde, James Mullis, Jordan Green, and Michael Hall; Grayson Hyde, Steven Fox and Jerry Hamrick, will serve as honorary pallbearers.
