Imma Maria Welty

Mrs. Imma Maria Welty, age 87, of Calhoun, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2007, at Gordon Hospital. She was born in Torre Del Greco, Italy, on November 29, 1919. Mrs. Welty was a housewife and was preceded in death by her husband, Fred William Welty.

Survivors include a son; John Welty and his wife Karlene; and two grandchildren; Sam and Sarah Welty, all of Calhoun.

Funeral services for Mrs. Imma Welty will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Darrell McGinnis officiating. Interment will follow in the Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Ron Queen, Matthew Queen, Maurice Jones and Anthony Chastain. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
