Inez Frances Clark

Inez Frances Boswell Clark, 79, of the Newtown community, died on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Gordon Healthcare. Inez was born in Gordon County on January 2, 1937; she was the daughter of the late J.P. and Janie Fisher Boswell. Inez was married to Roy B. Clark for 47 years; he preceded her in death in May of 2005. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Claude Boswell; her sister Linda Crumley. Inez was a charter member of East Calhoun Church of God. She was a loving wife and mother, and she treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Inez is survived by her children Melissa Brown, Carol (Kenneth) Murphy, Stephen Clark (Grace Stoner), Rita (Allen) Townsend, Sandra (Ken) Smith; her grandchildren, Michelle Brown, Donna (Joey) Dean, David (Ashlee) Murphy, Kara (Derick) Land, Lisa Clark, Leslie Clark, Stephen Clark Jr., Cody Townsend, Dustin Townsend, and Nathan (Summer) Clark; her great-grandchildren, Logan, Addison, Kalen, Delilah, and Camden; her sisters, Betty Greeson and Dollie (Gordon) Tatum; her brother, Edward (Brenda) Boswell; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The Clark family will receive friends on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. from East Calhoun Church. Pastors Keith Reid and Tim Reid will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Haven of Rest Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Clark officiating. Pallbearers serving are David Murphy, Cody Townsend, Dustin Townsend, Nathan Clark, Stephen Clark Jr., Derick Land, Joey Dean, and Stephen Clark.
