Inez Parker Williams

Inez Long Parker Williams, 84 of Calhoun, died at Gordon Hospital on Monday, September 14, 2015. She was born in Gordon County on June 6, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Doc and Lucille Long. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Floyd Parker and Delmar Williams; a daughter, Teresa Henderson; a son, Herbert William Parker; three sisters, Mildred Bearden, Wanda Turner, and an infant sister Celina Long; and two brothers, A.W. Long and Johnny Long.

She leave behind a daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Robert Smith; a daught-in-law Keeva Mauldin Parker; a granddaughter and her husband, Amanda and Tommy Thacker; five grandsons, Robert Henderson, Bradley Williams, Phillip and Kayla Williams, Shane Parker, and Chris Parker. Twelve great-grandchildren, Aaron, Zane, Skyler, Riley, and Evan Parker, Kara Wilson, Pure and Damien Henderson, Matthew Thacker, Kate-lynn Wlliams, Braylon Williams, Azlynne Williams, and Coal Williams; four sisters, May Smith, Rosie Ann Shaw, Mary Sue Breeden, and Betty Jean Gillette; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Clarence and Brenda Long, Billy Joe Long, and Buddy Lee Long.

A celebration of life for Mrs. Inez Long Parker Williams will be held on Saturday, September 19th at 3:00 pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
