Irene Mae Blalock Welch, 92, died Thursday, November 1, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Tom Blalock and Dellie Shelton Blalock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Huey Blalock, Alvis Blalock, Leach Shelton, and a great-grandson, Jonathan Galloway
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Sandie Hampton and Charles and Linda Welch; grandchildren, Lisa Galloway, Jeffrey Hampton, Sherrie Hampton, Mark Hampton, Anthony Bowman, and Terry Welch ; great-grandchildren, Jamie Rosso, Taylor Hampton, Brianna White, Abigail White, Hallie Hampton, Trenton Bowman, Stella Hampton, Cola Rogers, Jakob Webb, and Tifton and Zack Washington; great-great-grandchildren, Alexis, Addison, Alden, Aubrey, Creed, and Atreyu; brothers and sisters, Charlie Blalock, Inez Ayers, WT Blalock, JD Blalock, Junior Blalock, and Freddie Shelton; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Welchs body was cremated and there will be no service.
