J. B. Young

Mr. J.B. Young, age 61, passed away February 10, 2008 in Decatur, Tennessee. He was born in Pickens County on June 6, 1946, son of the late Lindsey and Betty Young.

Survivors include two sons, Timmy Young and Eddie Young; two daughters, Penny Stanley and her husband Ronnie, and Edith Hicks, all of Calhoun. Four brothers, Nathan Young, J.L Young, James Young, and Ed Young; and four sisters, Dean Hamrick, Janette Stone, Frances Watson, and Mildred Hancock, all of Pickens County, also survive.

A memorial service for Mr. J.B. Young will be conducted Thursday, February 14 at 1:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Keith Reed officiating.
